Palms has, until yesterday, used the same wooden sign that was
erected at the time Sea Palms was built well over 30 years ago. As
with most all things new, the original sign was the epitome of what
a beautiful road sign for a condo on the beach should be.
As the years began to take it's toll, the original sign began to
look worn out and dated. Yesterday (7/8/13), it was replaced with
this beautiful new sign. The two sided sign faces north and south
and is lighted. A drive down A1A will reveal that our new sign is as
modern and good looking as any on the beach.
If you are a Sea Palms resident, you can proud of our new sign AND
our strong, stately building!
Palms is located in N. Hutchinson Island, Fl., between Vero Beach
and Ft. Pierce. We are next door to the world famous Navy Seal
Museum. The Navy UDT-SEAL Museum is the only museum dedicated solely
to preserving the history of the Navy SEALs and their predecessors,
including the Underwater Demolition Teams, Naval Combat Demolition
Units, Office of Strategic Services Maritime Units and Amphibious
Scouts and Raiders. Located in Fort Pierce, Florida - the birthplace
of the Navy Frogman. As the
oldest, we the residents feel we are the sturdiest. After
experiencing hurricanes Frances, Jeanne and Wilma we are told that
Sea Palms suffered the least damage in our 9 condo row because of
our sturdy 100% poured concrete construction.
We are the first condo ever
erected on N. Hutchinson Island and stood alone for years until the
UDT Navy Seal Museum was eventually built right next door. Today
there are a total of 9 condos in a row at the southernmost tip of N.
Hutchinson Island. Sea
